The Kinks - I Need You - Cover
"I Need You" by The Kinks was released in 1965 as a B-Side to Set Me Free. Not a very popular Kinks song, but I liked it and thought it was a great song to try and cover. I Played ALL the instruments and did the background vocals you hear in this cover. The instruments used were Bass and Electric guitar, and Digital Drums. I did the recording using only a laptop and logitech PC mic. I hope you enjoy it. I play by ear so my description of the chords
are a bit rough...
It starts F# ( 2nd fret) to Em back and forth.
As you can see I'm playing flat fingered to get the speed.
Then switches to B and A back and forth.
Chorus is F at forth and then F at 7th fret, back to 2nd
and an Em then A and Em and back again all over again.
