How Honeybees feed on capped honey frame - Methodical Madness!!
I place a capped honey frame in a hive box (open feed) to see how the honey bees would approach feeding on it. I had thoughts on how they would do it. What do you think? Will they jump right in there or slowly devour the honey?
Over three hours of film condensed to 40 minutes.
I find it interesting how fast they can communicate with the rest of their colony and how they have different strategies to harvest in different scenarios.
They are truly fascinating creatures!!
