DERECHO STORM TORNADO HITS ONTARIO
It came suddenly and HARD on Saturday!!
We were all expecting severe thunderstorms...but this? was something else. Andy and I were home. I had literally come into the house with the dogs SECONDS before the sky's opened.
How blessed our small community suffered minimal damages to our homes, downed trees and pool destroyed... so so many suffered much more. Lives were taken, Injuries filled hospitals in Nappanee as well as other areas . We were alright BUT.. the loss of power when you live with someone on oxygen? is frightening. They deliver however it's a long weekend, and the whole of Ontario was hit.. means EVERYONE is needing oxygen in our area and only one runner to deliver.
Our nurse LeeAnn ( god love her) she and her husband Bill brought over a generator for us..
Our power has returned this morning.(Monday). Andy's mood much improved!!! i can't imagine how stressful it would be.. knowing your oxygen supply's now being counted before more can be delivered... with delays.
ALL GOOD NOW.. he's a happy man again lol.
