➔ The song of lunch based on the narrative poem by Christopher Reid, tells the story of a book editor who, after fifteen years apart, reunites with his old love for a nostalgic lunch at the Soho restaurant they used to frequent. They talk about how different their life is now. But the differences between them soon become apparent. And things get even uglier, when he starts drinking himself into unconsciousness for an hour. Since he was supposedly in the bathroom at the time, she deduces that he stood her up at the restaurant.
