Yet Luther's prophecies were clear and unambiguous, while Nostradamus encrypted his. The prophet Luther was easy to understand; Nostradamus required interpretation.
During the Reformation, numerous books about Martin Luther's "terrible prophecies" circulated. Today, only the writings of the French prophet are known.
