I am Canadian, so I embraced the stereotype of the politeness and went off on an adventure! See what happens when you decide not to treat everyone as immediately and dangerously hostile.
KoS (kill on sight) is the worst part of the game. And there's currently no incentive to discourage it. It's exactly what you'd expect to happen when you give people absolute anonymity, zero accountability and a gun. But it doesn't make for much of a game. Get gear, and either shoot or be shot. It's like any other shooter but with more of a tedious 'gearing up' preamble.
