Introducing Edge IO - a new edge device from Tulip

Tulip is replacing its flagship I/O Gateway with the new Edge IO, a wifi-enabled, easy-to-implement, low-cost edge device for collecting operational data from devices, machines, PLCs, and sensors, and integrating it directly to the Tulip platform.
The Edge IO includes functionality that allows engineers and operations technology teams to set up and update IIoT devices, digital workstations, and machine connections on their own.
Alleviate the bottleneck and dependence on IT to set up and adjust connection to networked machines with connector hosts and Node-RED.
Connect your stranded and proprietary machines to the cloud with Edge IO’s high-speed analog current and vibration measurement.
Enable frontline operators with digital workstations while forgoing expensive computers and tablets by running Tulip apps on Edge IO and connecting to external displays, including touchscreens.
The Edge IO is available in this first beta release to participating Tulip customers. General Availability is planned for early 2022.
