Blender 3d - Making a custom engraving
You better look at x2 speed, since I wanted to record a video at 60 fps, but it was saved only at 30.
Used the 3d model that I made in the previous video. Here I need to make a volumetric letters and numbers on the disc's surface ("5 kg" or "Waifu Gym" for e.g.), the same as on ordinary dumbbells.
I just selected the area, aligned the UV for the convenience of text writing (I work with textures in the GIMP), and used the resulting images in as "displacement".
