Telling the full story of Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness!
In this episode of the "Telling the Full Story" series on the Poké Mithos channel, we'll revisit the events of the game Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. Released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005, this title tells the second part of the exclusive story of the shadow Pokémon.
After being defeated by Wes and Rui in Pokémon Colosseum, Cipher returned with a vengeance to the Orre region to continue their evil plans for world domination using the shadow Pokémon. This time, they were even able to shadowify a powerful Lugia for a series featuring monsters that supposedly cannot be purified.
So, we'll follow the heroic deeds of Michael, the new silent protagonist who will stand in the villains' way. Using the Snag Machine, he will rescue the corrupted monsters from the villains and purify them, returning them to peaceful creatures free from the suffering of their shadow condition.
