Old Head Beach is a popular swimming and recreation beach in Co. Mayo, Ireland. It is a few minutes drive from the village of Louisburgh, and about 25 minutes from Westport. Old Head beach is long, with soft white sand and sheltered waters. During the summer months lifeguards are on duty so it’s a perfect place to go with the family for a day out.
