How's it going Gamers!!! this is a quick video the shows how to preload or pre-install a game that you don't own yet or are planning to get. Xbox owners who buy physical copies of games, this is a game changer that will save you time installing a game you just purchased physically. This feature can only be done through the XBOX app on IOS and Android. future updates to the Xbox systems themselves will probably allow this, but I found the Xbox App easy to use and setup. Search the game, choose download and pick a console you own to download it to that system. So pretty much the physical disk acts as a key or authorization to let you play the game.
This is a feature that Switch and PS5 should definitely copy. All console companies allow you to pre-load a pre-ordered game to reduce installation time on day 1, but these preloads are only for digital pre-order games. the fact that Xbox allows you to do this on all physical games is a great move forward to reduce the gamers time of waiting and allow us to play the game as soon as we put the disc in the system.
What a great concept that we should just be able to buy a game and put it in the system and play right away without having to wait for a full installation of the game. #sacarsm_voice
