If you want to ride a motorcycle without dying, you need to have functioning brakes. But I guess if you do want to die while riding a motorcycle, you probably still need functioning brakes to maneuver out of your house/neighborhood and make your way down to the highway to gain the necessary speed to do so. I guess either way, make sure you have good brakes.
