Royal Message Well Received at CIF-SAF-IUFRO Conference
His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales addressed several thousand delegates by video message, at the opening plenary of the Canadian Institute of Forestry’s joint conference with the Society of American Foresters and the International Union of Forest Research Organizations - on Thursday, October 9th in Salt Lake City. The Prince spoke of the vital role of all forest professionals and researchers in helping to address global challenges, as well as the importance of international knowledge sharing and exchange as facilitated by the conference.

Son Altesse Royale Le Prince de Galles s’est adressée par courriel vidéo à plusieurs milliers de délégués à la séance plénière d’ouverture du congrès tenu conjointement par l’Institut forestier du Canada, la Society of American Foresters et le congrès mondial de l'Union Internationale des Instituts de Recherches forestières, le 9 octobre dernier à Salt Lake City. Le Prince a parlé du rôle essentiel que les professionnels et les chercheurs du monde forestier ont à jouer pour affronter les changements qui surviennent sur notre planète; il a mentionné de plus l’importante du partage des connaissances internationales qui aura été rendu possible grâce à ce congrès.
