Getting the side switch depends on how close you are before Launcher at the start.
Since 2M does less knockback than 5M, you will be closer when you Launch and you will get a cross up jump.
Use the side switch to put your opponents back into the corner.
If you get the cross up jump and you want to maintain your side, you'll have to hit the j.5M at a higher point in the jump arc.
