This is my first, self-released and self-produced debut album 'Need A Break?'. I did it! After a year and a half of structuring and producing this album together with so much love and effort and tears, it is complete. Some songs started in 2019 and 2021, some as late as 2022 and 2023. I feel fulfilled. Especially when there were moments where I was about to scrap this album. This album is basically a snapshot of the mind during 2021-2024. I really wanted to portray themes of mental health, mindfulness and gratitude throughout the project because life is beautiful if you seek out the optimism of it. There were definitely moments of doubt, fear, anxiety planted here and there in the album. Why? Because I wanted the album's message to be as raw as possible. To persevere in the moments of self-doubt and portray a positive message to everyone, whether they are alone or are just realising that everyone is in this together. Thank you to my collaborators who took part in this album, I really appreciate you trusting me with your work and transforming them into what they are in their respective tracks.
