Ski trip to Gudauri, Georgia
Once upon a time, you were able to just fly off to a foreign country and play around in the snow...
Went through a lot of pain putting this one together. I originally edited the second half to a different soundtrack (Pras - Ghetto Supastar) since that's the actual song Axel was jamming to on the chairlift. However, YouTube decided to completely block the entire video when I uploaded it with that song in it, so I had to re-edit a lot of it. I still think it was much better originally, but I was able to find something with a similar vibe at least. Now it's only blocked in Iran, Cuba, Syria and North Korea (apologies to anyone viewing from there).
Filmed at the Gudauri ski resort in the Caucasus Mountains, Georgia in March 2020, just before all the lockdowns hit. Mostly shot on the Insta360 ONE R and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro with the Insta360 and GoPro FX Reframe plugins. For some shots, I used Topaz Gigapixel AI to upscale and Dain-App to slow down footage.
