Here's a general outline to implement weapon pick up in Unreal Engine 5:

Create a Weapon Pick-up Blueprint: Start by creating a blueprint class that represents the weapon pick-up, including its properties such as the weapon type and its pickup sound.

Implement the collision detection: Implement the collision detection between the player character and the weapon pick-up. You can use the overlap events in Unreal Engine 5 to detect when the player enters the pick-up's collision box.

Add the weapon to the player's inventory: When the player character collides with the weapon pick-up, add the weapon to the player's inventory, which can be represented by an array or a list.

Update the player's equipped weapon: Once the weapon is added to the player's inventory, update the player's equipped weapon to the newly picked-up weapon.

Play a pickup sound: Play a sound effect to indicate that the player has picked up the weapon.
Remove the weapon pick-up from the scene: Once the weapon pick-up has been picked up, remove it from the scene to avoid it being picked up multiple times.

Test and refine: Test the weapon pick-up mechanic in-game and refine the values and settings as needed.
