Cooking Instructions

Sear the Vegetables: Heat cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Fry the cubed potatoes and carrots until the edges turn light brown, then remove and set aside.

Sauté Aromatics: In the same pot, sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.

Brown the Pork: Add the pork cubes. Sauté until the meat is lightly browned on all sides to lock in juices.

Simmer and Tenderize: Pour in the soy sauce, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and water. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat. Cover and simmer for 40 to 50 minutes until the pork is fork-tender. Add more water if the liquid dries out too quickly.

Thicken with Liver Spread: Stir in the liver spread until completely dissolved into the sauce. If you like it spicy, add the chopped red chilies at this stage. Simmer for 3 minutes.

Add Vegetables and Cheese: Add the bell peppers along with the pre-cooked potatoes and carrots. Simmer for another 5 minutes until the sauce reduces and thickens.

Final Touch: Stir in the grated cheese until melted, which gives the sauce its signature velvet-like richness. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with a mountain of steamed white rice.
