This video demonstrates how a teacher or technology department can help provide support for students in a distance learning scenario. Using remotedesktop.google.com, a students can generate a support code that would grant the teacher/technician access to his/her device. Keep in mind that Remote Desktop does not have audio transfer involved. You would need to utilize a phone or Google Meet (video conferencing software) in order to hear voices.
This is performed on a Chromebook but is compatible with PC and Mac as well. There is also an app available for iOS and Android.
