WisEye Morning Minute: Election Audit Update

Assembly Republicans released a contract that shows $676,00 budget for the expanded review of the 2020 election. Costs include:
-$325,000 earmarked for “data analysis contractor”
-$125,000 for five investigators
-$55,000 salary for Michael Gableman
-$50,000 for outside legal counsel
-$15,000 for “communications”
Assembly Minority Leader Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) responded by saying, “They’re funding the circus now. It’s not cheap.”
