A level I made a while ago, using only gamemodes and gameplay mechanics from version 1.5 , having every single click* synchronized to the music, with the intent of providing a fun and nostalgic experience.
It isn't only about the gameplay though. I also used only 1.5 objects for the decoration (the only exceptions being a move and pulse trigger for the last 2 crosses, the "hide" feature of 2.2 to fix some gameplay bugs and skips, and the Scale feature in the editor). Since I started the level, I planned it to be like, some sort of ascension. My idea was that you would start in a weird purgatory state, and then, as you progress further through it, you would be forgiven and allowed to enter the heavens. I don't know how good I managed to execute that, since it's quite hard to notice a theme with this kind of decoration, but I hope I did decently at least. I think it can lead to various interpretations though, I would like to read your theories if you come up with some :)
Anyways, as the title says, this is an update to the level, adding some new visuals (still from 1.5) and fixing some flaws. You can see the old version here: • "Absolution" Old (update in desc)
The level got sent a while ago, so if it somehow ends up getting rated, I would like it to be as good as possible. Feel free to report any bugs or issues that you have with it!
