Pink gameboy pocket, with breakout socket
this is my first real gameboy pocket project. i really like the pocket but it is so small it makes it hard to work with.
this gameboy has been fitted with a purple backlight and a biverted screen modification for super sharp contrast. as well as that it has a NiCad rechargable battery built in, to give it more power. the main board has been modified to allow the battery to be charged from the normal AC socket. this gameboy has also been pro sounded before the pot.
but the interesting bit is the breakout socket. this allows me to take power out, put power in, and extract screen data as well as remote control the gameboy. to demo this i have used my testing module and the front half of a DMG gameboy. this shows that the pocket is identical in function to the original gameboy.
