Geology Major
SUNY Oneonta’s geology program includes 44 credits in the major with a solid foundation in mathematics, chemistry and physics. The geology program goes beyond classrooms, providing opportunities for students to engage in faculty-led field courses, research experiences, national geology conferences, and unique adventures like GEOFYRST – a pre-semester camping trip delving into the geology of New York and the Northeast.
