GPT in higher education
I was involved in creating the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) policy on the use of GPT and other language models in teaching. In the video, I talk about GPT and present four ways it could be used in higher education. Finally I tell about the JSBE policy and why we decided to have each specific guide line.
The four use cases:
1) Cheating by writing entire essay assignments using the AI.
2) Using AI to read and understand research articles.
3) Asking the AI for ideas.
4) Improving the language and and structure of your own writing.
I have GPT for improving the language in my articles. I have also used it to get ideas for for example article titles.
