It took me a little bit to get this video out, but I was having some complications with the program. Luckily, the support at Escape Motions have been fabulous and I managed to really have some fun with the new Rebelle 2. This is my initial look.
UPGRADES WORTH IT!
The biggest thing that I noticed was the upgrades. Everything flows smoother, makes more sense, and many more options. The program is still young compared to other digital art programs out there, but the designers at Escape Motions really put their best foot forward in this update.
The watercolor tool is still the most impressive to me. Allowing users to create their own brushes was integral to bringing it to the same level as other art programs like ArtRage for the PC/iPad or Procreate for the iPad. And the paint engine moves even faster than the original series.
Over the next several weeks I'll be doing a deeper dive into all the settings, so stay tuned for those videos!
