This is Dina.
You may have seen me commenting on some of your YT channels, and posting and interacting on Instagram.
I thought I should do a bit of introduction for those who would like to know a bit more about myself.
Crafting has been my passion since very early years in my life, and for the past ten years or so, I kept accumulating supplies for when I would have more time for expressing myself through crafting - think RETIREMENT...
I have discovered the junk journals on YouTube while searching for a tutorial in making a leather book cover for an old book of mine.
That was about two years ago.
Discovering the secrets of making these journals was like getting under some sort of spell. The more I learned, the more I was attracted to them, willing to try all kind of technics, and start making books, until the passion totally sucked me in. I've been designing and making journals for about a year and a half. The banners for my YT channel and Etsy Shop are showing my very first completed journals.
I am now at my 17th journal and still consider myself a beginner, as YT videos are uploaded day-and-night with new inspiring ideas and technics.
There is so much talent and creativity in those YT video clips...
I am grateful for having the chance (as a starter), of watching video clips posted by amazing ladies like: Mrs, Cog, Nik the Booksmith, Deligirl1961, Patricia Viramontes, Wendy from Wendy's Journal Adventure - only to mention a few of the peak talents that fuelled my inspiration.
Just like these ladies, I am inspired by life, feelings and nature.
In spite of this long introduction, I'm not a talkative person and this might be the reason for delaying my YT debut.
I realized that pictures alone are not enough for showing all the features of my work and besides, honestly, I am a terrible photographer. 🙁
This is why I decided to launch my journals into the world by posting videos o YT.
This is my very first video, so please be gentle. I'm in the process of learning. If you find anything inspiring in my video, or something you like, please leave a comment, give my video a thumb up and subscribe to my YT channel. This would mean the world to me...
Constructive criticism is welcome as well. I am always willing to learn from those that are better than myself.
