KKC x WACTAC
Minneapolis-based youth groups Kulture Klub Collaborative (KKC) and the Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council (WACTAC) joined forces for 3 months in 2017 to create art around themes of social justice, equality, mind states, values, and emotion. With the help of artists Sarah White, MMYYKK, and Chaka Mkali youth worked in groups to create original pieces of music, visual art, writing, choreography, performance, and learned about each artist's practice. The finished pieces were presented at Walker's annual Teen Takeover event on April 27, 2017.
