Trying the Best Ramen in Middletown NY! (Sugakaya Review)
Are you craving authentic Japanese flavors but can not make the trip to Tokyo right now? Join us at the Crystal Run Mall in Middletown, New York, as we visit Sugakaya to satisfy our cravings for delicious ramen and refreshing boba tea. 🍜✨
In this episode, we are leaning into our love for Japanese culture, sporting our favorite sushi and Sailor Moon gear while hunting for the best noodles in the mall. We start things off with a creamy Thai boba tea before diving into a feast that includes spicy ramen tonkatsu, fried gyoza, and a delicious appetizer platter. It is a bit of a rough-around-the-edges adventure, but the food more than makes up for it! 🧋🥟
The spicy ramen tonkatsu is packed with flavor, featuring tender pork, broccoli, radishes, fishcakes, and a perfectly cooked egg in a rich, spicy broth. We break down the ingredients and give you our honest first impressions as we try to recreate that feeling of being back in Japan. If you are looking for a quick but high-quality meal while shopping at the Galleria, you will want to see why we gave this spot a perfect score on our rating scale. 🍱🥢
