Dr. Mengele was the doctor at Auschwitz. He is often referred to as "The Angel of Death" because of his grotesque medical experiments on concentration camp inmates, particularly twins. He is the face of Nazi Medicine and Racial Hygiene, but to what extent did the medical establishment of Nazi Germany reflect him?
