Product Review: Tackle Instrument Supply Backpack Cymbal Case & The Danmar/Tackle Jazz Stick Case
Howdy Y'all. Here's a review video for the Tackle Instrument Supply Backpack Cymbal Case, and the Danmar/Tackle Jazz Stick case. Now that I'm home from working for Mickey Hart during the Dead & Co Residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas, I am doing some drumming gigs around Austin. I wanted some option for an "only what I need" Cymbal case, and Stick Case to streamline my load ins. These two items fit the bill perfectly.
First up is the beautiful Tackle Instrument Supply 22" Backpack Cymbal Case. This leather case is perfect for carrying just what you need for your gig plus a few extra crashes so you always have what you need to suit the room. It has 3 cloth dividers to keep the cymbals separated, plus an outer slot for extras like your metronome, charts and your wallet/keys. In addition there's a small zip pouch that is perfect for drum keys, moon gels, and tools. This case is also equipped with sturdy backpack straps making it easy to carry in, and out of a gig. Absolutely LOVING this case.

Next up is the Danmar/Tackle Jazz Stick Case. It's a smaller compact leather case that carries just enough sticks for what you will need for a gig. The zip flap design folds down to reveal a zip pouch, and a slot for all the small items you carry in a stick case like drum keys, felts, etc. Together with the brass ring for hanging the case from a lug, and you have a case, and stick holder in one. Simply awesome.
