My conversation with Adam stemmed from a Facebook group discussion - proving that not everything on social media is about gutting each other alive. He posed the question if people considered digitally replacing the sky in Photoshop cheating.
We soon decided to take our musings offline and discuss our thoughts in a different format.
"Great photographers have a certain visual vocabulary that transcends technique - perhaps that’s the essence of the art form. My struggle with photography isn’t really whether to cheat - it's to create a coherency to the work."
