Retro Odyssey ep.017

An IN-DEPTH review, analysis, and retrospective of Layla for the Famicom.

This is an exhaustive look at a game that is pretty much never discussed and mostly forgotten. In this video I'll cover everything in the game, the structure of the game, my personal experience, and how I feel it stacks up to its contemporaries from the context of a first-time player who didn't grow up with an NES.

This one was tough, because the game itself is much too expensive for what you get, and it was so mediocre that honestly I struggled to put the required amount of effort into the editing. However, I did end up completing it and I really hope you enjoy it! 💗

I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
