Exciting News! Here’s How to Install Your New PowerPoint Add-In:
You can Add OR remove add-in in ppt. Add-ins provide new features for Microsoft power point. Add-ins are not available in ppt, so you have to install those add-ins. it can customize ribbon with custom UI tab and buttons, ribbon buttons and context menus.
1. Save & Unblock: Save the add-in file to your favorite folder. Don’t forget to unblock it by going to the file properties!
2. Open PowerPoint: Launch any PowerPoint file to kick off the installation.
3. Developer Tab (if enabled): If you’ve got the Developer tab enabled, simply find the “Add-ins” button in the ribbon.
4. If Not Enabled: No worries! Just go to File -- Options -- Add-Ins. Select “PowerPoint Add-ins” from the dropdown and click “Go.”
5. Add Your File: In the dialogue box that appears, click “Add New.” Browse to where you saved the add-in file, select it, and hit “OK.”
6. Enable Macros: Once macros are enabled, you’ll see a new Ribbon Tab in PowerPoint! This will be available in all your presentations, so you can run the macro with just a click.
