SDS Hands-on #15 - DNS Firewall: export and leverage DNS logs
In this episode, we continue our journey with the SOLIDserver DNS Firewall and see how we can export DNS logs to an external log analysis system for analytics.
This method is only for demonstration purposes, the volume of the log is directcly linked to the DNS traffic, therefore log analysis can become complex and CPU/io intensive on high volume servers. Do not run this on an EfficientIP Guardian or Blast appliance unless your log analysis system is scallable.
