Due to catching a cold in December i got the chance to catch up on a bunch of 2018 Anime. I was originally planning to edit throughout that time but was forced to lay low. This is when i watched Violet Evergarden. It’s one of the, if not the, prettiest Anime TV series of the past few years. It’s also rather heavy on sad themes. Though in general I prefer to edit AMVs with a brighter mood, this idea touched me, partly due to recent events. There's still some things that weight down on me. So I try to put them to good use.
I first heard the song I'll Keep Coming by Low Road in the 2016 E3 trailer for Death Stranding. I'm a fan of Hideo Kojima and currently looking forward to this video game. I liked the song right away but didn't make much of it in terms of AMV. The idea to pair it with Violet Evergarden struck me on a train ride 2 months ago. I took some breaks while editing, partly due to catching yet another cold. Which led to watching even more Anime and also more AMV ideas. So there should be more. Soon.
