This video documents a trip my brother and I took to Las Vegas in 2022. Our main objective was to watch some college basketball, but we also included some sightseeing. We attended the West Coast Conference mens semifinals; the Mountain West Conference womens semifinals and finals, as well as all of the Mountain West Conference mens contests.
The video shows our drive from Fort Collins, CO, to Las Vegas, NV, on Interstate 80 and Interstate 15; as well as some winter travel conditions we encountered. Our return drive on I15 and I70 through Glenwood Canyon are also contained. If you enjoy beautiful scenery or are just interested in seeing what the road is like you will enjoy it.
Brief glimpses of the basketball competition are shown along with some outstanding halftime entertainment. Cheer squads performances from each of the Mountain West schools are also included.
Some sightseeing information from our visits to The Valley of Fire State Park, Death Valley National Park, and the Hoover Dam are highlighted. Photos and video of a tour of Allegiant Stadium and The Terry Fator Show in Vegas are also presented.
Photos and video of downtown Las Vegas at night document our visit to The Forum Shops at Caesars, the Mirage volcano, and the Fountains of Bellagio. The video is long (apx.2 hr. and 40 min.), but I think you will find it interesting. I have listed a legend for the video if you are only interested in viewing a single (or a few of) the portions of the video. Thanks for watching!
