We're beating #Ewaste in the rail industry by training technicians and engineers to repair NOT replace circuit boards! The alliance between ABI and Alstom has spread to 12 countries already since 2016. Alstom is one of 70+ rail organisations that implemented ABI's electronic troubleshooting and reverse engineering systems to reduce the waste of precious resources. Did you know? On average a repaired circuit board is 90% cheaper than buying a new one and saves 85% of the emissions that would go into making an unnecessary replacement.
Driverless, braking and traction systems, passenger announcement equipment, A/C, door controllers and automatic platform screen technologies are some of the most repaired units worldwide with the help of ABI's hashtag#BoardMaster saving millions of dollars to operators and OEMs.
