It’s Not Always About The Beauty, But…
It's not always about the most beautiful places. It's not always about the extreme adventures. Sometimes it's about relaxing and just enjoying the time spent outside doing what you love.
Cheyenne Mountain State Park had a little of everything.
The city lights were not my kind of beauty, but in a way it had it's own. It was different.
The hiking trails were heavily used, but it did offer more challenging trails with fewer people further out. The bike trails were a little on the hard side. I had to pay attention so not to hit boulders, I never had the chance to relax and look around. I found it was funner to ride the roads.
All in all, the park had everything you needed and then some. You will have to make that determination on exactly what you are needing though.
