In the effort to find dry firewood to burn in my wood stove this fall I have begun searching for standing deadwood and fallen trees to cut, split and dry for burning this fall. No luck today for I only found a few small maple branches and some ash logs with poison ivy on them. It's not a loss though, we have to get out and look for wood to find it.
