How to Keep the Gears Turning | Forever Ranting
The Gears of War E-Day progression system will make or break the long-term lifespan of the game and possibly the franchise! We the players are ready to rejoin Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago back in the Locust War, enjoy an amazing story, and play a tactically fun multiplayer! But to keep players returning, it will need to create an enjoyable gameplay loop that rewards players for logging on and revving their chainsaws. Today in the first episode of my new series, Forever Ranting, I want to look at past progression systems for Gears of War and create a solid foundation for E-Day!
