👌 English lessons. English from scratch. We're walking around New York City, learning English. Manhattan, a walk along 5th Avenue - Museum Mile. During today's walk, we'll explore a very useful and essential construction that best reveals the past tense in English: the past forms of the verb "to be," as well as the past simple tense. We'll look at the general structure of the past tense. We won't delve into grammar, but we'll still look at how it's formed. You'll learn that there are regular and irregular verbs in English and how the past tense of regular verbs is formed. Among other things, we'll review and reinforce pronouns and delve into the objective case of personal pronouns. We'll also complete a useful, effective exercise to automate their use.
