I got to interview a lot of cool people when I worked in television.
Both in Jackson, TN and Lexington, KY.
The most famous person I've ever interviewed was probably Dale Jr.
... all the nascar drivers I ran arcoss were cool -except for Jamie McMurray...
I never really knew which drivers would be there for testing. You could call the track ahead of time, but schedules always changed. One day I drove to the track - which was nearly 2 hrs from Lexington- and didn't get anything. McMurray was "too busy." If the Prince of nascar can spare 2 minutes for an interview, McMurray could have done the same.
I'm just saying.
