How I learned to love Battalion 1944
I created this most sincere video to support the devs from Bulkhead Interactive, creators of Battalion 1944 and to encourage the community to actually try the game before they judge it based on negative experience from the launch of Early Access version on Steam.
The launch in February 2018 was a mess, but not for everybody. For me it worked pretty well. Recent big March update made some adjustments to gameplay and also fixed some issues with connection to server, but again, it broke the game for some people, including me. However devs responded quickly and released another small update which fixed the "connection to host lost" issues. Now, the game works very good.
If you overcome these technical problems, you get a wonderful fast paced experienced set in WW2 settings that reminds me of good old days 15 years ago, when gameplay and fun created by players was everything. Battalion 1944 is a true old-schooler in a modern era of FPS genre. Try it, it's cheap and there is always someone who plays it. The future for this game is bright if enough people will remain active and positive about it's development. Thumbs up for everyone who never gives up doing what you love.
