My Print-in-place articulated 3D printing designs, which allow various parts to move and fold in one print, have become extremely popular and have allowed me to exist today.
However, since these designs have to be printed at once, the colors are monotonous. So, I have recently been improving the designs to print parts with different colors separately, which is somewhat inconvenient, in order to express various colors.
Of course, 3D printers that can print multiple colors at once are being released, but they are still expensive and not widely available. When printers that can print various colors become cheaper and more widely available, I plan to release designs that match them. Until then, I hope you enjoy this method of dividing parts by color.
This time, I redesigned the Porsche 911 Carrera, which was very popular among my folding car series, using the color separation method.
