Will the next trade war be over digital taxation? In the past year, nearly a dozen nations have announced intentions to claw back revenue from tech companies doing business in their country, but without a physical presence there. In response, the U.S., where many of the tech companies are based, has opened trade investigations into 10 countries and the European Union.
