In today's video, show you how to reset your low tire pressure indicator light on a Toyota Highlander. This process is probably pretty similar to other vehicles as well but in my case this is eighth 2011 Toyota Highlander limited. If you notice your tire pressure indicator light on you should check your tire pressure to make sure everything is correct most likely you will find at least one tire that is not properly inflated. If however you work your way all around all four tires and the indicator light is still on whether you add an air or not and you confirmed it all four tires are at the proper pressure, there's one more thing you need to do. Now most cases there is no reset switch button or procedure for eliminating that light on the dash the only way for it to go out is to ensure all tires are properly inflated with that said is one tire you may have forgotten and that is your spare tire. The tires fill stem are typically made of metal when they have a sending unit in them to communicate with the car's onboard computer system so if you check all four tires and they are correct take a look at your spare tire it if it has the same metal valve stem than that I am also has a tire pressure answer and sending you and must also be inflated to the proper pressure. And that was exactly the case in my situation the four tires there were currently being used on the vehicle were all within a pound or two of the proper tire pressure however the spare tire was under inflated by about 20 pounds. Once I added the air and brought the tire up to its proper pressure the low tire pressure indicator light on the dash went off. Hopefully you find this video helpful and you can finally get your low tire pressure indicator light on you – to go off.
