KQ6 Midi Demo SB16 vs. XP-30 vs. MT-32
This is a demo of a few songs from the early parts of King's Quest VI.
1. Soundblaster 16 - This is how most people would've experienced this game. Including my Let's Play ( • Let's Play King's Quest VI )

2. Roland XP-30 - This is my synthesizer in General Midi mode. I just used this for comparison. You can very much set up almost any MIDI compatible keyboard to play sound for old DOS games.

3. Roland MT-32 - Arguably the best possible sound for game midi in this era. Though the SC-55 Sound Canvass would have also been available at this time. I don't have one for comparison at this time.
