Seattle Thunderbirds' Tradition Honors Elite Army Unit
The Seattle Thunderbirds honored the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment - also known as the Night Stalkers - with a special locker room ceremony after every game during the 2015-16 season.
The Western Hockey League team met the elite Army unit at Joint Base Lewis-McChord before the season started, and that motivation helped lead the Thunderbirds to an appearance in the WHL Finals.
