Join the Department of Natural Resources in this live launch for our 2024 DNR Art Contest! DNR invites K-12 students to create their own art about environmental justice.
During this kick-off event, we will explore this year's topic areas and environmental justice theme. This year’s contest has three topic areas related to the work of the Washington DNR: Wildfire Resilience & Recovery, Urban Canopy Cover & Tree Equity, and Responsible Recreation.
Join us to learn more about the contest, and hear from DNR staff working in each of the three topic areas. This launch is designed for K-12 student audiences, and a recorded version will be made available on DNR’s webpage at www.dnr.wa.gov/kids
