♦ Tree-House ♦ Sims 3 vs Sims 4
Hey guys! This is going on my "short that turned out to be way longer than I thought" list. I need to stop doing this lol
Doing this I realized I used tree houses very ew times, it's not a thing I think of so it was interesting seeing how they made it a big part of Growing Together's trailer
Sims 3 was very simple, it was like a big toy for children only and I loved it, specially the mean little things like dumping water on sims and denying entrance to unwanted sims, it felt like a kid's game. I also liked the variety in looks but I wish they had more ways to play in these
Sims 4 feels like it wanted to be unique but ended up running out of ideas, I liked small details like decorating the house and playing pretend inside, but, has anyone been able to make the spooky story work? I'm genuinely curious if it's just my game or if it's a common bug. Either way, it's okay for what it is but I was hoping for more.
Treehouses are a very small detail in the sea of content that Generations gave us, it's truly a shame to see they were a bigger part of Growing Together and even then they feel not that big in comparison. I remember when Vampires came out it felt like Sims 4 was doing its own thing focusing on the smaller scale to make those things better, but lately it seems like EA/Maxis are not sure how to fill the void before Sims 5 comes out, maybe I'm being too negative but that's how it feels to me. I don't like the way this franchise is going at all but I hope they pick it up. Horses seem to be close and I expect them to surpass Sims 3's, but let's see how that goes.
